What to Know about Treatment?

You only get one body to navigate this life. So treat it like it’s one of a kind… Because it is! Through proper Movement, Nutrition, Regeneration and Mindset, pain can be reduced and risk of injury can be reduced. However there are cases where some form of treatment can be beneficial in either treating existing pain/injury or preventing potential pain/injury.

“He who treats the sight of pain is lost…” -Karel Lewit. The sight of pain is rarely the source of pain (except for blunt trauma). If a doctor treats the sight of pain and the symptoms without treating the source, this creates a “band-aid” and you can expect similar symptoms to return. It’s worth investing in good health professionals who will address the source and help mitigate future issues.

I’ve compiled a team of Allied Health Professionals that I’ve found to be some of the best in the industry and who have similar philosophies for their treatment strategy. Collaboration between myself and these professionals gives my clients the best possible care.

Surgery should be seen as a last resort. In most cases, non-surgical approaches are very effective forms of treatment. However, there are some cases where surgery is a necessary step in the process. I recommend exhausting non-surgical treatments and lifestyle changes prior to undergoing surgery. Even then, surgery will address the sight of pain, but may not address the source.
